About Us

Hello from Sweet Olive
Hello we are Vicki & Didi, two sisters who were raised in a family of four girls. We are your hosts at Sweet Olive, our family farm.
Sweet Olive holds a special place in our hearts with over 30 years of cherished family memories. Our parents have produced their own olive oil from our grove on the hill for over 20 years and customers from all over Australia have enjoyed the authentic supply.
Our Sweet Olive is not just a vacation retreat; it’s a timeless reminder of three generations. Now, we’re thrilled to invite you to experience the magic of this coastal hideaway, immersed in nature and brimming with love.
Didi is the creative sister of the four of us.
OOLUX is her range of body products using our own olive oil made from the olives we harvest right from the Sweet Olive grove. We make natural soaps, body/hand wash & lip balms.
We have left some for you to try during your stay and if you loved our products as much as we do, reach out via email or direct to the OOLUX website to bring a piece of Sweet Olive’s magic into your everyday routine.
History of Myponga Beach
Myponga Beach, with the Myponga Creek flowing under a footbridge into the sea, was one of South Australia’s earliest settlements outside of Adelaide. A jetty was built in 1860 for the export of the local produce: grain, wattlebark and livestock.
The beach was used as a port and the ruins of the old jetty are still present. It is a popular spot for both launching boats and for shore-based fishing off the adjacent rock reefs.
